Demitrius Lewis II

MASTERING ENGINEER Sacramento, CA

Demitrius Lewis II, a.k.a. “The Street Scientist”, is an African-American Mastering Engineer from Stockton, CA. His career in audio began at Curtis Senior High School in Washington—recording, mixing, and mastering for local artists. Demitrius’s love for sound led him to pursue his Bachelor of Arts in Music at Washington State University, where he graduated with honors. Demitrius found a home at the University’s recording studio, where his professors bestowed upon him the role of Senior Audio Engineer. His skills and ability to think globally received the attention of Nicolas de Porcel, owner and chief mastering engineer of Million Dollar Snare (MDS), by which he was offered an internship.

After starting at MDS, Demitrius was quick to adopt the Million Dollar Snare mastering technique and has assisted on some of the highest grossing R&B and Rap records of the 2020s—including the smash hit “Hrs & Hrs” by Muni Long, as well Ella Mai’s sophomore album “Heart on my Sleeve”. Some of Demitrius’s other credits include Roddy Ricch, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Isaiah Rashad, DaBaby, Summer Walker, Omah Lay, and many more.

Demitrius is currently taking independent clients and is ready to take your music to the ultimate level! Book now!
